Writing and Mission Work
Writing was something that Lura has always loved. She found it as her safe haven when trying to make sense of her own mental health. It was also her secret place with the Lord as she journaled about scriptures she studied. Today her writing takes a new form as she publishes her first book The Ark of Ukraine. Lura has a passion for the lost. Her desire is not just to see them saved but to make disciples as the Great Commission commands. Lura has traveled to eight different countries: Brazil, Ghana, China, El Salvador, Ukraine, Cameroon, Papa New Guinea, and Indonesia. With each country she met new people and experienced God’s heart in a new way. In The Ark of Ukraine, Lura explores the lives of Peter and Irina Tkachuk. She shares the powerful faith they each kept in the face of oppressive rule. Heart Healing
When she is not on the mission field abroad, Lura takes on the role of healer for many. With over ten years of experience under her belt, Lura serves as an intern with Exousia Ministries. There she helps people break out the things that keep them bound (I.e. generational curses, guilt, shame, anxiety, etc.) and helps them step into spiritual freedom by Sozo and Prophetic Heart Healing. She offers 1:1 Holy Spirit guided sessions to those who are searching for a way to break free once and for all and start living an abundant life.
Meeting with Lura for Inner Healing always leads to lasting change as my heart’s wounds are healed and God’s truth replaces the lies I’d believed. She leads me in encountering Jesus and receiving the things God has for me.
Lura has a special gift of compassion combined with bold authority (and brilliant humor) that inspires me to go deeper with expectation and excitement! Lura hears God clearly and calls out His truth about who I am, bringing me to new levels of strength and confidence.
